Job Title: French Teacher

Overview:
Al-Arqam School is looking for a passionate and dedicated kindergarten French teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in early childhood education and French language instruction and be capable of creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective French lessons that cater to the developmental needs of kindergarten students, using age-appropriate teaching methods and materials.
Curriculum Design: Develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials that align with school standards and promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
Evaluation: Use various assessment tools and techniques to monitor students’ progress and understanding. Provide feedback and reports on student development to parents and school administration.
Classroom Environment: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and language acquisition. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and respect.
Student Assistance: Identify and support students with diverse learning needs. Provide additional help or enrichment activities as needed to ensure all students are engaged and learning.
Communication: Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any issues. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school meetings.
Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with educational trends and best practices in early childhood education and French language instruction.
Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in or lead extracurricular activities, such as French clubs or cultural events, to further enrich students’ educational experiences.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, French, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Certification: Valid teaching certification or license in early childhood education or French (as required by state regulations).
Experience: Previous teaching experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
Skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in integrating hands-on activities and technology into teaching.
