Job Title: School Academic Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced academic manager to lead and manage our academic programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic affairs of the school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, and supporting the professional growth of our teaching staff. The school academic manager will work closely with teachers, administrators, and students to create a conducive learning environment that promotes academic excellence.

Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of the school’s academic programs and curricula.
Teacher Support: Support and mentor teachers in their professional development, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning practices, ensuring adherence to educational standards and best practices.
Student Achievement: Analyze student performance data to identify strengths and areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to design and update curricula that meet state standards and cater to the needs of diverse learners.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure the consistent application of school policies and procedures related to academic affairs.
Resource Allocation: Manage academic resources, including textbooks, technology, and instructional materials, to support effective teaching and learning.
Communication: Facilitate open and effective communication among teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
Scheduling: Oversee the creation of class schedules, teacher assignments, and the academic calendar.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation, regulatory, and institutional requirements.
Professional Development: Organize and lead professional development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the teaching staff.
Innovation: Encourage and support innovative teaching methods and the integration of technology to improve the learning experience.
Qualifications:
Education: a bachelor’s degree in English, education, or a related field; Educational Administration: a related field. A doctorate is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational administration or a related leadership role.
Skills: strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and educational technology.
Knowledge: in-depth knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational standards.
