Overview:
Al-Arqam School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated kindergarten French teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in early childhood education and French language instruction. They should be able to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:
• Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging French lessons tailored to the developmental needs of kindergarten students, using age-appropriate teaching methods and materials.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials that align with school standards, promoting language acquisition and cultural awareness.
• Assessment: Utilize various assessment tools and techniques to monitor student progress and understanding. Provide constructive feedback and a report on student development to parents and school administration.
• Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and language acquisition. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and respect.
• Student Support: Identify and assist students with diverse learning needs. Offer additional support or enrichment activities as necessary to ensure all students are engaged and progressing.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school meetings.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational trends and best practices in early childhood education and French language instruction.
• Extracurricular Activities: Participate in or lead extracurricular activities such as French clubs or cultural events to enhance students’ educational experiences.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, French, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certification: Valid teaching certification or license in early childhood education or French (as per state requirements).
• Experience: Previous teaching experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in integrating hands-on activities and technology into teaching.
